What is Extended DISC?

The Extended DISC Assessment is a method to understand how people behave, in finding their natural behavioural traits and how it reflects in the workplace. The DISC assessments assists you in learning how to effectively communicate with different behavioural styles as well as understanding behaviours that may cause fear and anger. Through DISC, SLP can help you with conflict resolution, cultivate harmonious interactions, and help push your sales team to achieve their best results.


The DISC Model

The DISC Model provides a simple and easy insight into human behaviour. None of the four types are negative, and are simply differences that can be found in natural behaviour. The four behavioural traits assessed are Dominance, Influence, Steadiness and Correctness.

The DISC model does not judge how succesful one can be, but rather their preferences and and attitudes when approaching different situations. Based on the DISC report, you can learn how to implement behavioural change to increase performance and synergy within the workplace.

Handling Workplace Conflict

The DISC Assessment is not a generic personality test, it is a focused report that assesses an individual's unique strengths, development areas, and behavioural preferences. This is a large factor in dealing with conflict resolution, as poor communication between different DISC styles can lead to conflict if not approached correctly.
